Finally! LED headlight bulbs that give the warm light color of the original Model A or Model T Bulb. Cool white LED headlight bulbs for Model As have been around for a while but we now have warm white LED Model A headlight bulbs too. Choose your color: cool white in 6000 kelvin or warm white in 3000 kelvin.
Efficient and Bright LEDs: In the model A electrical system, the headlight bulbs draw the most power as you drive. LED headlight bulbs draw so little power (0.8 amp low beam / 1.4 amps high beam) that you can run your generator at a lower setting than with original incandescent headlight bulbs, which draw about 8 amps. LED headlights are brighter than the original bulbs but, due to their efficiency, LEDs do not require an alternator or a conversion to 12 volts the way halogen bulbs do.
6-Volt or 12-Volt? Either is fine.You can run bright LED headlights in your Model A with the original generator on the original 6-volt positive ground system. The same LED bulbs also work on 12-volt negative ground if you have converted your Model A to 12 volts. These bulbs are rated for 5 to 30 volts, non-polarity. Specifications are discussed in detail below.
